Chai Latte in a Cupffee

Chai latte is a delicious and warming drink that combines the spices of traditional chai tea with the creamy texture of steamed milk. Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 black tea bag or 1 tablespoon of loose-leaf black tea
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2-3 green cardamom pods
  • 2-3 cloves
  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1-2 tablespoons of honey (or to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Start by boiling water in a small pot. Once the water is at a rolling boil, add the black tea, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves, and grated ginger.

  4. In a separate pan, heat the milk until it is steaming.
  5. Pour the milk into a mug, and add the tea mixture.
  6. Stir in the honey to taste. You can also add sugar if you prefer a sweeter chai latte.
