European Day of Languages

The EU is characterised by its cultural and linguistic diversity, and the languages spoken in EU countries are an essential part of its cultural heritage.The EU has 24 official languages:

Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Irish, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish and Swedish. 
Every year on September 26th, the European Day of Languages alerts the general public about the importance of learning different languages. We support the Green Revolution and that’s why we’re showing you how to say ‘zero waste’ in all European languages:
